Ch. 165 Zoning Code 165.07 DEFINITIONS
…5. “Agriculture” means the use of land for agricultural purposes, including animal husbandry, apiculture, dairying, farming, floriculture, forestry, groves, horticulture, orchards, poultry husbandry, ranching, viticulture, and the necessary accessory uses for packing, treating or storing the produce; however, the operation of the accessory uses shall be subordinate to that of the normal agricultural activities.
If a nuisance was called: Staff recommends talking to neighbors as a best practice. Bees would need to be a true nuisance for a neighbor to have a valid complaint.
Additional Notes: A Home Occupation Permit, approved by Board of Adjustment, would be required for sideliners operating out of their home. See Definition of “Commercial Use” below or visit link for City Code above.
Zoning Code 165.07 DEFINITIONS
